Did you know that Sylvester Stallone was at over 300 auditions before getting a role in a movie? He heard „no” more than 300 times before he got his „yes”.
There are desires that you may give up on after an unsuccessful attempt. That’s ok. It was not meant to be, and deep down probably you did not even want it.
At the same time, we do have these dreams that are the melody our heart dances to.
How to distinguish one from the other? The only way is to allow yourself to feel.
Instead to ask yourself who you want to be and what you want to have, ask yourself how you want to feel. Why? Because sometimes our minds can trick us and we accept social norms or our parents’ dreams as our own.
I was thinking I would like a big house, two children and a well-paid job.
Only that when I entered this idea by feeling, not just by image, it suddenly turned out that the dream house was more like a cold castle. My husband and I would be working late to maintain this property. A well-paid job in a corporation a stressful one and I would see children only when they were sleeping. In the end, it has never been my dream but a society image of the path we should select in life.
That’s why the only way to check something is to feel it. You can’t live your life in theory, you have to experience it.
It is also worth widening your perspective and accepting here and now, and that sometimes the proverbial “no” is better for us.
Recently I bought spontaneously a lottery ticket and when I looked at it at home I felt that I shouldn’t win. Do you know why? Because this win would distract me from my dreams. You ask how it is possible, money makes life easier?
You see I’m in the process of realizing the desires of the soul. I run this website, individual consultations, creating training for businessmen to smuggle a pinch of heart over there. I also constantly train myself, and I part of a government program for young entrepreneurs. All this requires a lot of work, dedication, perseverance, and humility. I need to be cost-saving, keeping my faith and growing self-confidence in what I do.
I need all this experience so that one day when this business groves bigger, I can handle it properly. I have to strengthen exactly these inner skills to inspire others and essential in my work with business leaders.
Imagine that I would win at this lottery. Having money, I would not have to hurry and try so hard, I could lay back. Probably I would travel somewhere or do some shopping. My project would go down the list.
I am aware that this is also part of me. I accept it and from time to time I create space for it.
However long perspective, it would not make me happy, either bring me where I truly want to be. Hence, sometimes “no” from the universe is consequently your “yes”.
When an obstacle appears in your path, do not turn back. After shouting or hitting with your head against the wall (as this is part of the proces too), try to push forward consistently. Not with bitterness and struggle, but with the awareness of your desires. Sometimes we don’t know why and what for but believe me, everything that happens in life is always for us, not against us. Overcoming obstacles creates exactly that strength, those proverbial muscles that are required and which will finally help you get where your heart can dance.
Just like Sylvester Stallone was supposed to play Rambo, so will you in your movie called life. You are a director, but let the universe bring some corrections.
If you don’t know where to start or if your dreams are truly yours. Could be you have them, but consciously or unconsciously you sabotage your way to meet them. I invite you to harmonize the numerological portrait. It’s a deep work that reveals your potential, your talents, and lessons, so the distance between you and your dreams become shorten.
